SOME KIND OF BEACH

 Once a year
like in 2012 (click) and 2010 (click),

a day at the

waterpark with the 

Summer school.

Waterslides, swimming pools, waves pool

rafts and a lot of fun.

Not everybody is a

K A M I K A Z E.

E. is afraid of these two very steep

water slides

called Kamikaze.

Unlike last year

this year he tried twice

but the second time 

something went wrong

and he got scared again.

Daddy isn' afraid at all.
A real kamikaze.

No way to try again!
My little stubborn kid.

Probably next time

or when it will be the right time

not to get scared anymore.

RIVER EXPLORING

Since there are many different 

kind of small streams

in the surroundings of our village

and lately it's very hot

we are always looking for some kind of refreshment

in our spare time.

(Not today indeed.

It's raining cats and dogs)

SOMEWHERE

 

On Saturday we explored another small river

hidden in the forest on the other side of the valley

(opposite our home).

I used to go there with my sister and friends many many years ago.

It was a kind of "secret" not to tell anybody else.

Indeed many knew about this small "lake"

even if it's hidden by the trees and you cannot see it from the path

unless you don't know where it is.

I've been there with M. just once long time ago

and I was curious to see how it changed in these years.

We met E.'s cousins there  (click)

The small lake has changed a lot.

River floods and landslides have brought a lot of rocks

and the shape has changed.

Water is really cold 

and you want to get out pretty soon.
