A taste of summer

And in the end
Summer came!

Much better

E. is feeling much better.
No more pain since last night
but the doctor suggested an antibiotic therapy
I'm not very fond of antibiotics and I'm always worried
of possible side effects and allergies
(once E. had a skin rush)
But since there's this bad infection in his ear
I decided that probably this was the best thing to do
(the doctor reassured me about possible side effects).
It took so long to convince first me and then E. to drink his medicine
(He didn't like the banana taste)
Am I worrying too much?
I always fear that something
impredictable can happen to him

yesterday I came home

late in the evening from the office

(really boring and useless meeting)

and he was crying

because of

ear inflammation.

After some paracetemol

he spent the night quite well

This afternoon we go

to the pediatric doctor.

I feel so lost

when I see my kid in pain

and enjoy this real summer day

but this is not possible

Holidays are still far away

Yesterday E. came to my office

My mum picked him up from the nursery

but for an unexpected change of plans

she could not look after him.

So he sat still and really serious

at one of my collegues' desk, keeping silent and

drawing with his pencils until I finished my work.

My little boy is growing

Today we woke up
with 11 degrees
Not bad....... if you think
that it should be summertime.
Still bad weather
no rain but grey sky.
We were supposed
to have a grill party today
But we'd better wait for the sun

Once upon a time

Yesterday we
(mainly me in fact)
followed the Royal Wedding

via Internet.
We started to watch the

ceremony
around 13,00
and had dinner .......
with the guests of the

Wedding Gala Dinner
in the Royal Castle
(different menu indeed).
I just waited for
the wedding cake
and went to sleep like Cinderella
around Midnight
with my "Prince".

Graduation day

The 1st of June E. had his

"graduation day"
at nursery school
Time flies so fast
It seems just round the corner
when E. had his first

graduation day at "baby nursery"
3 years ago

Still 2 weeks in Nursery school
in July Summer school
and in September
Primary school
Poor E. always at school

One day a year

Yesterday it was M.'s birthday.
E. and I prepared a chocolate cake
We had Mexican lunch on the terrace with a pale sun
(very late for the Italian standard:14,30)
and a very late dessert inside
after a rain storm

Today we had lunch at my mum
we celebrated 3 birthdays:
my sister's, her husband's & M.'s

I like Saturday mornings so much.
No special plans for today
M. is fixing the entrance path
E. is outside playing
And I have to fix laundry
and other housework stuff
Sun, rain, clouds altogether

M. didn't say anything
but in the afternoon

So (a bit late) E. and I hanged the Swedish flag
We don't have a proprer pole
