 Better low profile or exagerated?

Last  morning when I was suggesting E. to wear a sweater
because it's still chillyearly in the morning
he stared at me and said
" You are cold, I'm not cold
I'M A  
V I K I N G ! "

SUNSHINE IS DELICIOUS

Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, 

wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; 

there is really no such thing as bad weather, 

only different kinds of good weather.

Still crazy weather!

We are experiencing all kind of weather this month.

And we still need all kind of clothes

according to the different days.

T-shirt one day and duvet jacket next day.

Today is such a sunny clear day

but on Saturday, when we are invited to a wedding,

there will be snow all day and

temperatures between 1 - 4 degrees.

All the girls are worried because

dresses have been bought

thinking of a late May sunny day......

So dress code has changed: 

coats and duvet jackets are required.

MIND THE BALL!

SHOCKING SPRING!

This morning when we woke up

we could not believe it!

Snow.

 Fresh, new Spring snow all around.

Some flakes came also in the village

during the night

but then the rain washed them away

and when we woke up there were just some white spots

hidden in the grass here and there.

But on the peaks 30 cm.

In May.

 

Amazing weather.

Sun is warm as it can be in Winter time.

But the air is chilly.

Chilly for us longing for warm sunny Spring days.
Too chilly!

Upside down seasons
I remember this post from 15th January (click)
"No Winter at all"
 with no snow at all and E. wearing short sleeves
late in the afternoon in the garden.

SNOW, AGAIN!

It looks like

this is a never ending Winter!

This morning we woke up and there was snow

just above 1100 metres on the mountains.

BRR BRR freezing and weather alert !

This morning I got a very good report 

about E's behaviour :

a sweet, generous, polite child 

with good manners.

LEGO VS VIDEOGAME

 Fortunately E. is still very fond of

L E G O

This is the only game.

he can spend hours playing with.

A very good option

to playstation.

Unfortunately we mixed up many pieces 

and sometimes it's difficult to build a construction 

following the drawings because of  missing pieces.

But the E's own creations

are very ingenious.

where we spent a lot of time

just looking at all the small colourful bricks

and playing.

TOO MUCH ENERGY

E. used his left finger so much and so fast

on the playstation controller

while playing RAYMAN game

that he got a blister.

Now he has to take it easy

and avoid this game for a while ....

YOU ARE MY CHILD

A MUM THROUGH HER CHILD'S EYES

This is me 

through my kid's eyes:

So slim as an anorexic model

So strong as a sumo fighter

With wide shoulders and muscles as an olimpic swimmer

With thick eyebrows like a Muppets character

With witch hairstyle
but with a big SMILE.

On the local newspaper  were printed the dedications to the mums
written by the pupils attending primary schools

E. wrote
"Dear Mum, I've been loving you since I was born until now.
You are a special mum because you always help me.
I want you to know that I love you very much"

I SEE YOU

OUT AT LAST!

 Last weekend for the first time this Spring

we ate outside on the terrace.

Mexican food: tortillas for the first sunny weekend.

E. stuffed his tortillas with a lot of rucola and salad this time

(my kid is making an effort to put some more vegetables in his diet)

A big result if you consider that he usually eats

maximun 1 or 2 salad leaves.

Anyway heating is still on in the house

because as soon as the sun goes down

the temperature drops!

IBRA FOR ONE DAY

This afternoon

E. and his mates of the football team

will have a football match

in a big stadium downtown.

The town team was playing in the first division

last year (this year they are back in the second division).

No school in the afternoon.

A GREAT DAY.

I miss you Mamma.

Everyday.
What it hurts more
it's not seeing you anymore:

GLITTERING EYES

I miss the sun so much!
Another day: grey and rain.
All I can do is looking back at the days
when we could  enjoy sunlight and warm.
