BE BRIGHT!

 It takes a big effort 

to keep up with all the daily activities,

school and sports schedule. 

E. is doing very well

even if sometimes it's hard

to study after dinner

when you get home 20,30

from training  sessions.

Y E S, IT'S FRIDAY !

Very busy week this week

(for all of us)

swimming, football, dentist

driving up and down the valley

everyday, but today!

Alarm clock for everybody at 6,30 this morning:

there was some Celsius

and how thermometer works

 still to study for today.........

But at least it's Friday 

and we have a weekend ahead

IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DAY

 And finally sun came back again!

Such a lovely day today.

Mountains are getting more and more colourful

Days are getting chiller and chiller

and Rayman (our cat) is getting lazier and lazier

sleeping most of the time

instead of chasing mice!

FOOTBALL TRAINING

 Last Saturday a football match.

cousins against cousins.

This is a very popular game in Italy

very common in bars many years ago

and very common today among kids.

E. spent almost all day with them

at the river beach, in their garden, at lunch,

at our home bathing at the small river behind our house

 and at dinner in their garden.

They get along quite well

and E. is always looking for somebody to play with.

Fortunately they leave quite near our house 

so  he can walk or cycle on his own to their house

and viceversa.

Good Morning  F R I D A Y !

Italian breakfast for me

while E. is still sleeping.

I try to let him sleep as much as possible

He is on holiday after all!

He has breakfast at his grandpa's

and then he cycle to Summer School.

Isn't he cute?

 

THIS CRAZY SUMMER

It's still really cold if you consider that we are in July.

In the evening we seldom can have dinner on the terrace.

It rains and then it gets clear again.

Last evening it was so dark that it looked like already Autumn

But this morning it was like this.

Sunlight and bright colours!

 I like to wake up early in Summer and enjoy the light

of a new day, when the house is silent 

(poor M. wakes up much earlier than me

 and usually he leaves before I wake up).

E. started "Summer school" last Monday.

Every day Mon to Fri from 8,30 to 16,30.

A lot of sport activities, excursions and some homeworks.

Today the plan is a mountain excursion

here in the surroundings.

PIZZA TIME

Lately I'm trying to involve E. in making dinner (most of the time)

or lunch (on weekends)

so he can get used to prepare a pasta

or some other easy meal.

I also want him to get used to set/unset the table

and to put dirty kithcheware in the dishwasher.

He enjoys probably because this is something new for him

Yesterday it was pizza time.
