Still crazy weather!

We are experiencing all kind of weather this month.

And we still need all kind of clothes

according to the different days.

T-shirt one day and duvet jacket next day.

Today is such a sunny clear day

but on Saturday, when we are invited to a wedding,

there will be snow all day and

temperatures between 1 - 4 degrees.

All the girls are worried because

dresses have been bought

thinking of a late May sunny day......

So dress code has changed: 

coats and duvet jackets are required.

SHOCKING SPRING!

This morning when we woke up

we could not believe it!

Snow.

 Fresh, new Spring snow all around.

Some flakes came also in the village

during the night

but then the rain washed them away

and when we woke up there were just some white spots

hidden in the grass here and there.

But on the peaks 30 cm.

In May.

 

Amazing weather.

Sun is warm as it can be in Winter time.

But the air is chilly.

Chilly for us longing for warm sunny Spring days.
Too chilly!

Upside down seasons
I remember this post from 15th January (click)
"No Winter at all"
 with no snow at all and E. wearing short sleeves
late in the afternoon in the garden.

SNOW, AGAIN!

It looks like

this is a never ending Winter!

This morning we woke up and there was snow

just above 1100 metres on the mountains.

BRR BRR freezing and weather alert !

This morning I got a very good report 

about E's behaviour :

a sweet, generous, polite child 

with good manners.

HERE COMES THE RAIN

 

Swimming on Monday

Football on Tuesday and Friday.

I can hear some thunder in the sky far away

and the sky is getting more and more gray.

Football training under the rain? 

Y E S,

like the real football players.

There will be a tournament again

next Saturday

and our kids want to score

many many GOALS.

Yesterday we were under the illusion

Summer was here to stay

reality again.

Still waiting.

M. bought this slack line

last time he went to visit a Winter sports exhibition

Good for training balance

but very difficult indeed.
So today we took the chance to try it
in this sunny warm morning.
Unfortunately in the afternoon came a rain storm
and the temperature dropped 10 degrees!

THE DAY AFTER

We didn't clean the snow
off the pathway to the
garage this time
Wasting of time.
Sun rays did all the boring job.
Thanks Mother Nature.

BREATHE

YES, Weekend!

It looks like we flew over March & April

and we landed suddenly in May.

So lovely this Spring preview!

And this bright light

(we still have to get used to it)

makes me just feel really

H A P P Y .

I fear this is just an illusion

in the next days it looks like

we are going to experience

some more Winter days.
