THIS CRAZY SUMMER

It's still really cold if you consider that we are in July.
In the evening we seldom can have dinner on the terrace.
It rains and then it gets clear again.
Last evening it was so dark that it looked like already Autumn
But this morning it was like this.
Sunlight and bright colours!

I like to wake up early in Summer and enjoy the light
of a new day, when the house is silent
(poor M. wakes up much earlier than me
and usually he leaves before I wake up).
E. started "Summer school" last Monday.
Every day Mon to Fri from 8,30 to 16,30.
A lot of sport activities, excursions and some homeworks.
Today the plan is a mountain excursion
here in the surroundings.

PIZZA TIME

Lately I'm trying to involve E. in making dinner (most of the time)
or lunch (on weekends)
so he can get used to prepare a pasta
or some other easy meal.
I also want him to get used to set/unset the table
and to put dirty kithcheware in the dishwasher.
He enjoys probably because this is something new for him
Yesterday it was pizza time.

I WANT TO RIDE MY BYCICLE

Last Sunday we took a long ride
with our mountain bikes
(almost 12 Km but fortunately for me downhill)
through forests, meadows, old villages,
small rivers and lakes.

I discovered some very pictoresque corners
I've never seen before
hidden in the narrow streets of the villages we passed by
and along the path.

Really  nice and warm summer weather.
Next time we will not forget
 to put on swimming suits
and will stop at this lovely lake
to take a swim in the green waters
and have a picnic

E. and M. were really very fast
and I had to do my best
to keep up with their speed!
I wonder what would have happened
 riding uphill instead!

Some friends along the way taking a ride as well.

On days like this
I think we are really lucky to live here.
It's like to go on holiday
without moving from home!
Happy!
