Soup for everybody today!

Today in the main squares of most of the villages in the valley

Carnival Committees are cooking for everybody

a vegetable soup with rice,

called "paniccia", .

They start really early in the morning and at midday
everybody can get a portion or more just for free.
All you have to do is
to turn up with your own pot and that's it.
In my village you also get

salami,meat,cheese,bread,fruit & cookies

just paying some small extra money.

So E. had "paniccia" at nursery school (I'm not sure he likes it)

I had it in the office with my collegues

and probably also M. had his portion.

All of us a different one.

Working, Working, Working

Another day has gone, so fast and I had to rush

working, working & working.

I look forward to be back home.
E. & I started to play some letters game
to learn to read and he seems to enjoy.
I've been also a teacher time ago .....

Happy Valentine's day

I'm not really fond of this
Valentine's day
and all the stuff connected.
I don't like to celebrate love
just because all the world is celebrating it.
So there will be no
candles light dinner tonight.
Maybe tomorrow or next week. Why not?

Love

Love
is missing someone
whenever you're apart,
but feeling warm inside

Good morning to my 2 sweethearts.
It's such a bright and sunny day.
Time to get the skis & leave for me & my sweetheart E.
M. is at work. I've just seen him
for a short while early this morning
moving like a ghost inside the wardrobe room
looking for some shirts that were down in the laundry.

Valentine weekend

Together

E & M will spend a day together.

M. woke up very early this morning

and rushed to the "Freeride Paradise"

to be in time for the first track in powder snow!

Then the plan is: coming back home, picking E. up

and skiing together.

Hope they will a nice day together.

Fat Thursday

Today in Italy is "Giovedì Grasso" = Fat Thursday.
This is the day, together with next Tuesday,
when the climax of the Carnival
festivities are traditionally celebrated
and when the major theatrical events and parties take place.
E. had a full Carnival day:
Masquerade party at dagis,
parade in the streets in the afternoon
& in the end hot chocolate.
