Sweet child of mine

 

 

8 years

 Birthday celebration last Saturday.

Indeed we have been celebrating for a week.

Family party with presents, 

decorations, cake and candles

on Monday evening on the "official" day.

A party with friends and cousins

and treasure hunt on Saturday.

No time to waste

  

Many things happened

So many days went by.

Now I learned to enjoy 

the "small things".

To enjoy the days when 

nothing special happens.

To enjoy the ordinary 

 but peaceful days of everyday.

Scared at first

to try very steep water slides

and twirling pipes

But really excited then

once the fear was defenitely gone.



 

HOME ALONE

My kid is away.

He is spending some days at his cousins'.

They attend a sort of Summer "school"

with a lot of sport, games, dancing, acting and so on.

More than 100 kids

We called him yesterday and

he said he doesn't miss mum and dad at all

S I G H !

The house is so silent

without him around

So strange to wake up in the morning

and find his room empty!

I really miss my kid!
