Autumn is here

Gardening today
Such a lot of fallen leaves
M & E fixed the garden
before the winter sleep
So foggy like a real
Autumn gloomy day

Dragons exist ....

  E. doesn't have nightmares so often
Sometimes I hear him
mumbling in the middle of the night
but he never tells about scary dreams

He doesn't fear dragons or monsters
but he is afraid of ghosts and darkness
For this reason he doen't want to go upstairs
(where we have bedrooms)
alone

He falls asleep with small star-shaped turned on lights
hanging on the shelf opposite his bed
that we turn off as soon as he falls asleep
and when he wakes up in the night
he can turn them on
and go on sleeping
with their reassuring light

Lately he sometimes wakes up
in the middle of the night
and asks if he can join us
in the "big bed"
Not because of nightmares or ghosts
but just in
search of hugs

Something is changing

Slowly the mountains are changing colour
and soon they will burn in the marvellous
autumn warm nuances
I really like
the changing of the seasons

Summer ends, and Autumn comes,
and he who would have it otherwise
would have high tide always
and a full moon every night.

A little artist

E. really likes to draw
even if lately Playstation games are getting
more important than
P E N C I L S
We give him a fixed time to play
otherwise he would spend all day in front of the TV

So when PS time is over
he comes back to his pencils turning them into
skating boys, caterpillars, firemen trucks,
tractors, cars and animals
These first weeks at school went pretty well
He is doing fine and it seems he enjoys
He just complained once telling me
he didn't want to go to school anymore
because his teacher told me
he should use pencil instead of using pen to write

P.s.
In these pictures E. is wearing school uniform
which is compulsory in his school

The heart of autumn

Such a dark morning today
It looked like daylight
was not going to light the valley
Rain and grey
Summer images are just a memories far away
All we can hear now is the noise of
rain drops on the roof
and leaves falling from the trees
And in addition
today it is
Monday

Just give me a

In E.'s bedroom there is this cross-stitch panel
I did long time ago before E. was born
thinking of a baby to be born one day

The nursery rhyme more or less says
I want a day without night
I want a sea without storm
I want a bread always fresh
On the cypress tree a peach flower
If I'm asking
 too much
don't give
anything
Just give a
happy and smiling face
Every morming
when I wake him up
this is the best
Good morning:
his smiling & happy
face
